On April 23 and 30 and May 7, 14 and 21, the Unitary Platform against Gender Violence, with the support of entities, will hold online training on data feminism and cyberfeminism.
Soon, the Unitary Platform against Gender Violence , in collaboration with DataGénero and with the support of national and international entities, organizations and institutions, will start an online training on data feminism and cyberfeminisms. Designed especially for women, the initiative seeks to provide theoretical and practical tools to analyze data from a feminist perspective and understand how technology can contribute to the fight against gender violence. The training, which will be held online from 10:00 PM to 11:30 PM (time slot in Catalonia/Spain) on April 23 and 30 and May 7, 14 and 21, will generate a space for reflection and a space for action around data feminism and cyberfeminisms, working on strategies to question the unequal distribution of power in the production of data, especially in relation to feminicides and other forms of gender-based violence, through data feminism, other experiences of data use and research, analysis and use of artificial intelligence from a feminist perspective. In this sense, the initiative will end with a datathon, a collective experience of analysis and development of technological solutions to improve the collection and management of data on gender violence. The results will be collected in a study that will be sent to national and international institutions. For more information, you can write to plataforma@violenciadegenere.org .
