Next Friday, December 13, from 6.15pm to 7.45pm, at the Casa Golferichs Civic Centre, in the city of Barcelona, the talk will focus on how the gender gap extends to access to digital technologies.
As part of the ECOSS Festival , the Casa Golferichs Civic Centre, located at Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, number 491, in the city of Barcelona, will host the talk 'The empowerment of women in the everyday world and the digital world' next Friday 13 December from 18.15 to 19.45 hours. The colloquium will focus on how the gender gap extends to access to digital technologies and will feature the participation of four female experts: Blanca Callén, Simona Levi, Thais Ruiz and Roberta Bosco. During the talk, there will be a debate about the fit of the everyday world in the digital world from a gender perspective or whether the digital world can be a space of empowerment, training, criticism and work for women . In the same way, the four female experts will bring together projects, initiatives, experiences and personal experiences, as well as present other perspectives that subvert established digital policies as regulations and other technological practices such as ecological and economic transition, sovereign and democratic digitization and the inclusion of the gender perspective in the design of digital technologies, among other alternatives.
