The Pixel Conference 2026, which will be held on Wednesday, May 6 at the 'International Lab' space in Madrid, will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence, new European regulation and digital skills.

Next Wednesday, May 6, the Esplai Ciudadanía Comprometida Foundation will organize a new edition of the Pixel Conference. The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the facilities of the 'International Lab' space, located at Calle Bailén, number 41, in the city of Madrid. The Pixel Conference 2026 will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence, the new European regulation, the need to promote digital skills and the responsible use of artificial intelligence tools. The event will feature representatives from the third sector, public administrations and technology companies, who will be able to share ideas, reflections, experiences, lessons learned, tools and resources to address the main challenges of the present and the future: the public policies that will accompany the development of artificial intelligence and the digital transformation of the sector, the new European regulation and its impact on social entities, the use of artificial intelligence in an ethical, safe and responsible way, the need to strengthen digital skills in organizations, and the challenges and opportunities of new technologies applied to social impact.

In this sense, the Pixel Conference 2026 will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the reception of attendees and the dynamization of a small space for knowledge, conversation and exchange. Then, at 10 a.m., there will be an institutional welcome and the presentation of two reports: the first report will revolve around the digital state of the third sector and the social economy and the second report will focus on digital gaps and the improvement of citizens' digital skills. Then, at 11:15 a.m., there will be a round table on policies for innovation and the implementation of disruptive technologies and social technology within the third sector and the presentation of a third report on the promotion of artificial intelligence for social change. Then, at 2:30 p.m., the dynamization of two participatory workshops will continue: the first training proposal will revolve around the development of bots with generative artificial intelligence tools and the second training proposal will focus on the development of automations within the cloud. Finally, the Pixel 2026 Conference will end with the institutional closing and a collaborative assessment.
