On March 5th and 6th, at the MWC, a round table will be held on technological and digital initiatives of the social and solidarity economy and the event 'For full socio-digital inclusion'.

The new edition of the Mobile World Congress , which takes place from 3 to 6 March at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via, located at Avinguda Joan Carles I, number 64, in the town of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, will have two sessions related to digital social innovation. Firstly, on Wednesday 5 March, from 3 to 4 pm, a round table will be held on technological and digital initiatives of the social and solidarity economy. The meeting will take place at the Barcelona Activa stand at 4YFN - Mobile World Congress, hall 8, north entrance, and will feature the participation of several people representing the digital social innovation initiatives 'Tàndem Go', 'Up me Up', 'Som IT' and 'm4Social' , a project of the Taula d'Entitats del Tercer Sector Social.

The following day, Thursday 6 March, from 12 noon to 2 pm, the public event 'For full socio-digital inclusion' will be organised. The meeting will take place at the Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation stand at the Mobile World Congress, hall 6, main entrance, and will feature the presentation of the 'Digital Gap Index' project by Xavier Trabado Farré, vice-president of the Board of Entities of the Third Social Sector of Catalonia, and Mireia Fernández-Ardèvol, professor at the Open University of Catalonia, the project 'Closing the digital gap: strategies for an inclusive digital transition in metropolises' by Chelo Fernández Rodríguez from the Mobile World Capital Barcelona Observatory and the project 'E-inclusion in Ghent: digital exclusion is social exclusion' by Maria Ewema and Sarah Voets from Ghent City Council. The public event 'For full socio-digital inclusion' will be complemented by the presentation of professional experiences with the participation of several representatives: Núria Valls Carol from the Bretxes Digitals Observatory of the Esplai Foundation, Joan March Nespleda from the Obra de Maria Social Foundation, Bàrbara Outeiro Ramírez from Suara Cooperativa, Noelia Torres Baños from Factoria F5, Sonia Fuertes Ledesma from the Barcelona City Council and Teresa Llorens Carbonell from the Generalitat de Catalunya.
