The WER is a nonprofit project sponsored by the United States Mission in the European Union, Startup Europe, the European Commission and Amazon, with the aim of helping European founding women connect with the main public bodies Local, regional and local authorities to address the barriers in the financing process and create strong transatlantic collaboration and the exchange of good practices.

It consists of a series of ten events for several cities in Europe to connect three hundred entrepreneurial women with thirty more important financiers of the European and American ecosystem to facilitate access to finance.

The objective is to identify the main challenges faced by these women when they want to access funding and produce a report with the conclusions to be presented in the European Union with recommendations on specific policies to improve.
