The Generalitat de Catalunya has presented the awareness campaign 'Less screen, more life!' with the aim of involving families in the healthy management of digital technologies. 'The mobile phone will not hug you when you need it' , 'The mobile phone will not make you enjoy the outdoors' or 'The mobile phone will not make you feel part of the team' are some of the poignant messages of the new campaign that is part of the Responsible Digitalization Plan promoted by the Department of Education and Professional Training of the Generalitat de Catalunya and which aims to guarantee that students achieve digital skills through ethical, healthy and responsible use of digital devices. Beyond educational centers, the Responsible Digitalization Plan also wants to support families who want to accompany their sons and daughters when it comes to understanding the digital world. In this sense, the awareness campaign 'Less screen, more life!' contains various graphic materials, a video and a guide with recommendations and advice on how to manage digital devices at home in stages: from 0 to 6 years old, from 7 to 11 years old, from 12 to 15 years old and from 16 to 18 years old. The guide provides information on the benefits of the digital world, warns of the risks to physical and mental health that excessive use of new technologies entails and proposes strategies for managing digital devices at home with guidelines for good use.
