With the aim of promoting the responsible use of new information and communication technologies among the different members of the family, the Families TIC blog includes around twenty resources. Promoted by the Secretariat for Digital Policies of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the initiative offers diverse and plural alternatives to delve deeper into the digital support of families in childhood, adolescence and youth and promote a healthier relationship with digital devices. In order to facilitate the search for proposals, guidelines or ideas, the resources are categorized into four areas of incidence: prevention and awareness-raising, support for families, attention to problematic use and cybersecurity. Likewise, in the Families TIC blog, there are resources of different types such as, for example, games, articles, interviews, reports, books, videos or infographics. Similarly, there are resources of different dedications, characters and audiences.
Recently, in the Families TIC blog, two new features have been introduced: the website 'La Família Digital' , where the lawyer from Lleida, Ramon Arnó, identifies the opportunities and threats of the digital world, and the guide 'Screens: Reading Guide' from the Punt TIC of the Roca Umbert Library, which offers proposals, stories and reflections to transform the relationship with digital technologies and promote a more conscious and enriching use of screens in everyday life.
