ACCIÓ , the Agency for Business Competitiveness, is launching a new edition of the line of business innovation grants with the aim of promoting research, development and innovation projects carried out throughout the Catalan territory. The objective of the call is to promote the different phases of innovation projects, from the exploration and technological validation phase, which occurs before the decision to invest in a project is made, to the research and development phases, as well as technological implementation. In this sense, the line of business innovation grants 2026 provides for three sub-lines: technological exploration grants , that is, grants for the validation of ideas and technologies in the initial phases, reducing uncertainty and risk before making investment decisions, open to companies from any sector; grants for research and development projects , that is, non-repayable grants for carrying out industrial research and experimental development activities that, this year, are specifically aimed at companies in the chemical sector and its value chain, and technological innovation grants , that is, grants for the execution of technological transformation projects through the incorporation of advanced technologies that, this year, are specifically intended for companies in the automotive and mobility sectors and their value chain. Therefore, companies with an operational establishment in Catalonia, whether limited liability company, public limited company, labor company or cooperative company, or a technology transfer agent that has official accreditation, can apply for the call. On Friday, July 10, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., an online information session will be held, where ACCIÓ will explain the main characteristics of each subline, the application requirements and the calendar of the call for grants.
