The new academic year welcomes the new 'Dona Digital' platform. Driven by Tertúlia Digital, it is an independent communication platform with a systemic and intergenerational vision that aims to act in three essential areas: inspire teenagers, connect students in technological careers and give visibility to professional women. The aim is to promote technological vocations to address the gender gap and build a solid and sustainable ecosystem of female talent. The 'Dona Digital' platform was born as a response to the reality shown by the DonaTIC Barometer, a report prepared by the Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya, which states that only 31.88% of people working in the ICT sector in Catalonia are women.
Among the first actions of the initiative is the publication of the LaIA 2025 List, a selection of 55 women who have stood out for their careers and their commitment in the digital and technological fields. Conxi Pérez Andreu, Alba Badia Rifà, Núria Salán Ballesteros and Àurea Rodríguez López are some of the women who are part of this list, which includes 31 leading ICT women and 24 students of technological degrees. Likewise, the 'Dona Digital' platform makes an artificial intelligence bot, LaIA, available to citizens, which allows them to resolve doubts, search for articles, consult lists of leading women, consult barometer data and propose content to become a reference resource for the competitiveness of Catalonia.
