Currently, only 50% of the video games produced in Catalonia include the Catalan language in their final product. The Ce Trencada project wants to exponentially increase this number. So, the initiative was born with four central objectives: the normalization of video games in Catalan, the cultural preservation of the Catalan language, the institutional pressure for a digital and multimedia regularization and the creation of European and global interest in the Catalan language . These four axes articulate the mission and vision of the Ce Trencada project.
"The ultimate milestone of the Ce Trencada project is its dissolution, because it will mean that we will have achieved all our goals, but, for now, there is still a lot of work to be done", reflect the people who are members of the Ce Trencada project. The initiative offers around fifty video games in the Catalan language, such as, for example, Abathor (Pow Pixel Games), Exophobia (Zark Attack) or Jett Rider (Last Chicken Games). Along these lines, the Ce Trencada project community can share video games, software and other content in Catalan.
