Under the slogan 'Ecology, Technology and Democracy. Another future is possible', on October 23, 24 and 25, the Decidim Fest 2024 will fill the Canòdrom. The University of Digital and Democratic Innovation. , which is located at Carrer de Concepción Arenal, number 165, in the city of Barcelona. Decidim Fest 2024 is a free event open to the community, which this year will focus on the climate crisis and the transformative role of technology, participation and democratic planning. What role can technology play in facing the ecological crisis? What are the risks and opportunities in using these technologies? How can we transit towards ecologically and socio-economically desirable societies in a democratic way? What kind of political institutions do we need to democratically manage the transition? What is the role of communities? How do we imagine post-capitalist societies? All these questions and many other questions will be answered within the framework of Decidim Fest 2024. Once again, at the Canòdrom, the event will bring together a large part of the global community with the intention of becoming a meeting place, of to share journeys, to strengthen the collective project and to advance on the way to favor a free technology in an ecosystem of projects that can open new perspectives towards a more democratic digital age.
