Last Saturday, May 17, Internet Day was commemorated. Within this framework, from May 13 to 15, the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress 2025 in the city of Barcelona. The event became a meeting point where cybersecurity came together with technological innovation and allowed people to learn about cybersecurity trends, discover innovative solutions and connect with the community. The Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia had a stand, where it promoted talks and promoted an exciting proposal: an escapism game. "The escapism game simulates a cyberattack on a video game company and we need eight cybersecurity experts to help us mitigate this attack. Regarding the talks, the director of the Agency participated in a round table on cybersecurity and the manager gave a presentation on how to manage a cybercrisis from a communication perspective," says Txell Collado, head of communications at the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia. Likewise, the stand of the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia hosted around twenty Catalan companies that had the opportunity to present their services to the public. "This year, we have expanded the footage of the stand to be able to host eighteen companies from the cybersecurity sector of Catalonia and two entities that deal with issues related to cybersecurity", adds Collado.
