Last Friday, January 30, the new edition of the Winter Campus ended. This time, around seventy facilitators worked on their digital skills and learned about new digital tools and resources. Specifically, from Monday, January 19 to Friday, January 30, three training sessions were held: 'Community Radio: Let's Turn on Microphones', 'Digital Protection: Let's Avoid Fraud, Scams and Manipulations' and 'Digital Impulse: Let's Work on Professional Development and the Creation of Job Opportunities'.
The first course, 'Community Radio: Let's Turn on the Microphones', ended with a total of twenty-four people registered and nine people passed, who obtained Competency 3.1.3. Content Development (medium level). During the training proposal, which had the support of the La Traginera team, the students worked on the development of a podcast in all its phases: ideation, recording, editing and dissemination, the use of radio as an educational and community tool and the identification of prescribers and references within the field. The second course, 'Digital Protection: Let's Avoid Fraud, Scams and Manipulations', ended with a total of thirty people registered and twenty-one people passed, who obtained Competency 4.3.5. Protection of Health and Well-being (advanced level). During the training proposal, which had the collaboration of the team from the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, the students worked on discovering procedures and systems for identifying digital risks, determining prevention and protection measures and learning about the action protocol in the event of having suffered a security incident in the digital world.
The third course, 'Digital impulse: we work on professional development and the creation of opportunities', ended with a total of eleven people registered and six people approved. During the training proposal, an initiative developed by the UOC Rural Digital, students worked on the dissemination of digital tools to improve professional careers, the optimization of professional development with artificial intelligence and the approach to new professional opportunities. Exceptionally, the new edition of the Winter Campus of the Xarxa Punt TIC Network offered the possibility of taking one of the training proposals developed by the UOC Rural Digital. From the Xarxa Punt TIC, the course 'Digital impulse: we work on professional development and the creation of opportunities' was recommended due to its suitability with the profile of the dynamic person, but there were seven other interesting training proposals available to members of the Xarxa Punt TIC Network.
