The Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative aims to inspire and educate data scientists around the world, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field of data. WiDS began as a one-day technical conference at Stanford in November 2015. It is currently a global movement that includes multiple initiatives around the world organized by WiDS ambassadors. Registration for the April 20 event is open. It will be held in the Manel Martí Recover Auditorium, Barcelona School of Informatics.
