As part of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Xarxa Punt TIC has drawn up a collection of activities and a list of resources. Dive in!

Next Saturday, November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women will be commemorated. Within this framework, from the Xarxa Punt TIC, various activities have been programmed to make women visible and their transformative role in the field of information and communication technologies, as well as their key presence in the STEM sectors (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

So, this is the updated collection of activities scheduled within the Xarxa Punt TIC:

- 21/11/23. Punt Òmnia Camins Fundació (Barcelona).

The Punt TIC will collaborate with training on digital sexist violence for young people.

- 21/11/23. 6 p.m. Biblioteca Municipal Les Voltes (Sant Vicenç dels Horts).

The Punt TIC will collaborate with a feminist book club. In particular, the literary work 'The Consent' by the author Vanessa Springora will be discussed. To participate, you must register in advance.

- 23/11/23. Punt Òmnia PES La Mina Salesians Sant Jordi (Sant Adrià de Besòs).

The Punt TIC will collaborate with the 25N working group in the La Mina neighborhood of Sant Adrià de Besòs, which plans to install organization tents in Plaça Maria Àngels Rosell Simplicio, read the manifesto, promote participatory murals about sexist violence in the library and at the UPC and to energize a vindictive journey.

The Punt TIC will collaborate with the screening of a film, which is to be determined, as part of the Mantita Fest online film forum activity and with a debate on violence against women with the elderly.

The Punt TIC will collaborate with the performance 'Mujeres de incierta edad' by the actress Sandra Rossi.

- 24/11/23. 10:30 a.m. Punt Òmnia del Raval - Colectic (Barcelona).

The Punt TIC, with the support of the Taula Raval Dona, will collaborate in a tribute by the women of the Raval neighborhood of Barcelona to the women victims of sexist violence at the Drassanes municipal track.

- 24/11/23. 11 a.m. Equipament Cultural Escoles Velles (Sant Pere de Riudebitlles).

The Punt TIC will collaborate with the commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women with the students of the El Patufet kindergarten and the Sant Jeroni school in the municipality.

- 24/11/23. 6 p.m. Biblioteca Joan Oliva i Milà (Vilanova i la Geltrú).

The Punt TIC will collaborate with the awards ceremony for the 'Letter to an abuser' initiative promoted by the Feminist Women's Association La Frontissa, with the support of Vilanova i la Geltrú City Council.

- 24/11/23. 7:30 p.m. Equipament Cultural Escoles Velles (Sant Pere de Riudebitlles).

The Punt TIC will collaborate with the activity 'Brushes of women between drinks', a proposal designed, elaborated and animated by the members of Caram Caram, the artist Ariadna Cervera and the sommelier Gemma Muray. Specifically, the basic notions of painting will be learned, artistic potential and artistic expression will be stimulated and various wines from the Catalan territory will be tasted. The Punt TIC will collaborate with the 25N awareness campaign on the desdelamina.net portal, which this year will focus on micro-masculinism, under the title 'Yes there is, therefore', and which calls for the collaboration of the public to think of phrases to make posters and to distribute them in the neighborhood and on social networks.

The Punt TIC will collaborate with a storyteller with a gender perspective with Vivim del Cuentu.

- 27/11/23. 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Punt TIC Servei Municipal d’Ocupació (Girona).

The Punt TIC will collaborate with the realization of a feminist digital self-defense workshop to understand, identify and acquire tools and strategies to combat gender violence in digital environments. The proposal will be promoted by the reference feminist organization FemBloc. To participate, you must register in advance.

- 01/12/23. 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Punt Òmnia gòTIC - Ajuntament de Tàrrega (Tàrrega).

The Punt TIC will organize the online session 'eliminate digital sexist violence!' As part of the successful themed Fridays initiative, the different types of sexist violence and the different types of digital aggressors will be discussed and some self-defense strategies, best practices and safety tips and responses to these will be shared digital violence. To participate, you must register in advance.
