The Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia will organize a public call to publicize the RETECH funds among cyber security companies and entities in the area of education and research in the territory, as well as other organizations of the digital ecosystem Catalan. The meeting will be held next Wednesday, May 3, at 4 p.m., at the BITAL Space, which is located at Calle José Agustín Goytisolo, number 22, in the town of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. The intention is for the agents to know and participate in the RETECH proposals.
In this sense, RETECH Cybersecurity is a European funding program coordinated by the National Cybersecurity Institute with a budget of 149 million euros. The initiative seeks to promote digital transformation and digital specialization projects, as well as to promote disruptive initiatives based on different visions, experiences and knowledge acquired by regional administrations, moving their own territorial networks of knowledge and collaboration. In the same way, RETECH Cybersecurity wants to promote tractor effects in the territory as a whole to move towards new, more sustainable and integrative development models, increasing the economic, social and environmental potential.
In the case of the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, it will focus on the health sciences and operational excellence axes of the European funding program. Valencia will assume the axis of connected industry and Galicia will be responsible for the axis of smart transportation.
