This October, the virtual meeting of the Xarxa Punt TIC will focus on the relationship between families and ICT. The session, aimed exclusively at the Xarxa Punt TIC community, facilitators and management entities, will be held next Tuesday, October 31, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The new virtual meeting will have the participation of clinical psychologist Dominica Díez Marcet, who will lead the session and offer tools and advice to the community of the Xarxa Punt TIC on the effects of the use of screens in childhood and adolescence. Among other aspects, Dominica Díez Marcet will share communication strategies between fathers, mothers, sons and daughters, recommendations for a healthy use of technology, parental controls and guides with the facilitators and with the management entities of the Xarxa Punt TIC books of interest The virtual meeting will last approximately one hour and thirty minutes. In this sense, one hour will be allocated to Dominica Díez Marcet's presentation and thirty minutes to a subsequent debate in order to raise relevant questions, doubts and contributions.

Currently, Dominica Díez Marcet is in charge of the Behavioral Addictions Unit of the Mental Health Division of Althaia, the Manresa University Assistance Network. In the same way, Dominica Díez Marcet is a member of the advisory group of the General Sub-Directorate of Drug Addictions of the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya and associate professor at catalan universities.
