Next Friday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Punt TIC of the Roca Umbert Library , located in the town of Granollers, will organize a network security course. Specifically, the training proposal will offer effective advice on digital security and prevention. In this sense, the training session will be carried out by members of the ABP Granollers Community Relations Office of the Mossos d'Esquadra.

Among the planned topics of the network security course, the basic security functions stand out: protecting access to mobile functions, access credentials and how to maintain the level of privacy; safe shopping: the safe website, what to do before making a purchase, the best payment methods and common frauds; digital scams: what they are and what guidelines to follow to avoid falling into the trap, and advice and measures in case of being a victim of a digital scam: the IMEI identification number.

The training proposal, which will have a theoretical part and a practical part, will be free and at a basic level and will be aimed at people over 55 years of age. To participate, you must bring your mobile phone with a charged battery.
