The Punt TIC offers four courses and eight workshops to work on digital skills and to promote the use of new information and communication technologies. We explain it to you!

This autumn, the Punt Òmnia Casa del Mar de Vilanova i la Geltrú, managed by the Ajuntament de Vilanova i la Geltrú, is revitalizing various activities with the aim of working on citizens' digital skills and promoting the use of new information and communication technologies in the municipality. Firstly, the Punt Òmnia Casa del Mar de Vilanova i la Geltrú organizes two introductory computer courses, where participants learn the basic functions of the device and how to use it in their day-to-day life. The sessions began in mid-September and will end in mid-December. Secondly, the Punt Òmnia Casa del Mar de Vilanova i la Geltrú, with the collaboration of the Employment Service of Catalonia, promotes two courses to improve the digital skills of the participants with the aim of increasing the opportunities within the labor market and to work on professional profiles within the framework of job search processes. Thirdly, the Punt Òmnia Casa del Mar de Vilanova i la Geltrú holds eight workshops, lasting two or three sessions, to learn how to use resources and applications related to mobile phones: how do I transfer photos from mobile to computer, getting started with Google Photos, take photos with your mobile, getting started with Instagram, how to free up space on your mobile, getting started with Google Assistant, how WhatsApp works and create your own design. Finally, the Punt Òmnia Casa del Mar de Vilanova i la Geltrú offers various spaces or services such as, for example, open and free access to computers, the consultancy for resolving doubts, questions and issues related to the use of mobile phones and of the computer and support in carrying out digital procedures.
