With the aim of promoting the role of women in the field of information and communication technologies, Col·laboratorio Catalunya , promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the i2CAT Foundation, presents the DonaTIC Cycle. Under the title 'Female talent in the digital ecosystem of Catalonia: experiences and opportunities', the initiative will organize a total of ten events in different parts of the territory. In this sense, the proposal aims to give a voice to leading women in the technological, scientific and business fields in order to learn about their inspiring experiences. Therefore, the sessions will seek to expand the visibility and connection of female talent in Catalonia, as well as to promote technological vocations among girls, teenagers and young women.

This is the assessment of the facilitator of the Punt Òmnia de La Seu d'Urgell, Ester Collado:

Last Tuesday, September 19, I had the luxury of being part of and participating in the DonaTIC Cycle, an initiative of Col·laboratorio Catalunya, promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the i2CAT Foundation, and the Accelera PIME Office for rural environments Secartys Synergy. It was a space where I could listen to and learn from four women with a very different professional and personal journey, but all of them with a common handicap, as is the fact of new information technologies as a tool to be able work and reach citizenship.
