Next Wednesday, November 22, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., the DIXIT Centre de Documentació de Serveis Socials de la Generalitat de Catalunya, with the collaboration and support of UNICEF Comitè Catalunya, will promote an online chat with the aim to reflect on how new information and communication technologies influence the relationships and communications of children and adolescents.

Under the title 'The impact of technology on adolescence. Relationships, risks and opportunities. An approach from the rights of children', Roger Garcia Rodoreda, responsible for Children's Policies and Awareness of UNICEF Comitè Catalunya, will present the main conclusions of the latest report prepared by UNICEF. The text provides an x-ray of the use of the Internet, social networks, video games and online gaming, analyzes their impact and examines some risky practices. The talk, which is part of the International Day of Children's Rights, which was celebrated last Monday, November 20, will also talk about the role of teachers and families when incorporating the rights perspective children and adolescents, as well as how to make respect for children's rights compatible with the supervision and support of families.
