Technovation encourages girls around the world to identify a problem in their community and come up with a mobile application solution to this problem. It offers a training program so that girl groups can develop their project.

They learn to communicate their ideas and translate them into a business plan. They do this in groups of up to 5 girls and with the support of volunteer mentors. So at Catalan, Spiral Association Education and Technology calls for participation.

If you want to change the world with technology and work with young people , be encouraged to guide and inspire the learning process for a girl group of 10-18 years old and to build an equality-based female community .

How can you participate in the Technovation Girls?

Mentors are people who are knowledgeable in the business world or in the field of mobile application creation and who want to share some of their time with different groups of girls. The approximate availability will have to be between 2-4 hours per week to accompany the groups in person or virtually in the achievement of the different weekly challenges.

During the process, based on design thinking , we identify a problem, write a business plan, make a prototype with App Inventor and present the created project. You do not need a technical profile, you can work as a couple and the support is online or online (through the profile created on the Technovation Girls platform).

What are the commitments?

October to December: 4-5 hours per month: Get the equipment and start working
From January to April: 2-4 hours per week: Guides the team during the development of the project. Support will be available for the official Technovation Girls curriculum.

The ICT Point invigorators can be mentors and involve participants in their telecentre on this stimulating journey of technology entrepreneurship. Do you cheer up Registration is done by filling out this form through the project website.
