About ten years ago, a group of women and computer students from the TIC-Òmnia JIS Point Roots in the Torrassa and Collblanc districts of Hospitalet de Barcelona began a process of recovering the historical memory of the neighborhood through the blog Neighborhood memories through which they began to learn computer science and get old photographs of the district.
The motor group is currently formed by neighbors with the participation and collaboration of other people from the neighborhood who come to contribute their photographs and have now organized the exhibition " Memory of the Tower and Collblanc" , an open space in the neighborhood and located in the Point Òmnia Jis-Arrels to show the work of photographic and audiovisual research has been publishing on its blog since 2008.
The exhibition, which prevents so traveling to different parts of the district, will be open from 8 to 22 January at the Cultural Center Collblanc-Torrassa.
In addition, he will show a first selection of testimonials (individual and group interviews) published on his YouTube channel , where neighbors will tell us their photos and share their memories of the neighborhood.
