Approximately 10% of the world population is 60 years old or over, and it is expected that by 2050 the proportion will increase by around 20%. Aging has profound implications in various aspects of everyday life including health, housing, transportation, leisure, communication, and personal and social relationships.

Each year, the d-LAB program studies the agendas and priorities of international organizations and selects three social challenges through announcements for the presentation of proposals. A committee made up of external experts that support the project with its experience in the fields of technology, business and social impact chooses the winning person from each challenge.

The deadline for submission is May 22 , 2019 at 5:00 p.m.

Winning people will be announced in July 2019 and will have the opportunity to develop their proposal in Barcelona, with the financial and operational support of MWCapital Barcelona .
