The deadlines for participating in the fifth edition of mSchools Student Awards end on May 23 for the first category and on May 13 for the other two. On June 9th will be the awards ceremony, in the Farga de L'Hospitalet de Llobregat.
App Education
App Education is a didactic proposal focused on the design of applications and the development of prototypes encompassed within the subject of computer science of 3rd and 4th of ESO, Baccalaureate and Training Cycles taught in Catalonia. It aims to improve digital skills and stimulate entrepreneurship among the students with the support of mentors.
This year, the call is open for students of ESO, Baccalaureate and Formative Cycles of educational centers of Catalonia. The winning teams will be able to participate in the TechCamp mSchools , the summer colonies that combine outdoor activities with the learning of the different aspects of digital development.
Mobile History Map Challenge
Mobile History Map is an educational tool that promotes transversal work for projects through mobile technology , which allows students to geolocate and create content on points of interest close to their educational centers.
The competition is open to the students of the centers of Primary, Secondary and Educational Services of the Department of Education of Catalonia. The prize for the winning teams will be a 360 ° camera and a set of 5 glasses of virtual reality.
Scratch Challenge
The initiative aims to promote digital skills and develop creative thinking among young people.
Participants will have to present to the competition projects developed using the Scratch language based on the challenge "De grandes serem ...". The winners of the contest will participate in the TechCamp mSchools during a whole day.
In its 4th edition, the competition hosted 4,000 participants, 84 finalists and more than 1,100 attendees.
