With the Innovators Under 35 initiative, MIT seeks the most brilliant minds in the world, changing society and business with its innovations in biotechnology and medicine, computer and electronic hardware, software, Internet, artificial intelligence , robotics, telecommunications, nanotechnology and materials, energy or transport. In this way, it rewards the innovation, the ingenuity and the advances towards the most important challenges of the world.

Look for "people who are capable of materializing the fascinating, inspiring and original ideas that will revolutionize the world of technology and business in the near future." Sergey Brin, one of the founders of Google, and Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, have been awarded previous editions.

Each year a list is published with the young people selected. The calls are organized by regions. The European call is now open, which will reward 35 people. There is the option to appear as a candidate and also to nominate another person. The deadline to do so is March 12.

The fact of being selected does not entail an economic award, but serves as an acknowledgment of the path and potential of the most promising people in the field of emerging technologies.
