Barcelona will host the 17th and 18th of June a meeting of "maker" culture, which will bring together local and international participants to share their knowledge and creativity through exhibitions, workshops, talks and interactive demonstrations.
The biggest event in the world movement of digital creation will take place in Barcelona. It will be the weekend of 17 and 18 June, in the Italian Pavilion of the Fira de Barcelona and CaixaForum.
More than 200 projects of Makers and Scientific Research and Technology Catalans Centers of Excellence, invention and creativity workshops and advanced technologies, live demonstrations and presentations of drones and robots are some of the activities proposed Maker Faire Barcelona. The aim is to share learning experiences and processes, approaching the latest technologies that make them possible.
3D printing, electronics, robotics, Big Data, augmented reality, digital manufacturing, the Internet of Things, nanotechnology, biotechnology... wil have their place in the meeting, which is aimed at inventors, creators, "handles", hackers, engineers, craftsmen, scientists and innovators curious of any age or origin.
