World Summit on the Information Society Forum (WSIS) organizes a photo contest and encourages citizens to participate with images that reflect how "people and organizations that are leveraging the power of ICTs to make difference". Works can be submitted until 22 May.
World Summit on the Information Society Forum is the biggest annual event on ICT for sustainable development. This year will take place from 12 to 16 June in Geneva, Switzerland. In the framework of the summit, they organize a photo contest and invite citizens to show in an image how Information and Communication Technologies are playing a facilitating role in the achievement of sustainable development.
To participate you need to send photos of projects, people and organizations that are leveraging the power of ICT to make a difference. You must be more than 18 years old. The call is open until 22 May 2017.
Some of the photos will be selected to form part of an exhibition that will be displayed during the summit. In addition, three winners will be awarded and presented at the meeting. It also invited the winners to join the #ICT4SDG campaign of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU - ITU).
