Digitization is assuming transformations at the productive and business level and is generating great impacts on how to work , human resources management and the culture of companies and societies. In this new environment of digital economy, Digital Social Innovation , teleworking and new forms of work can be valuable instruments for the active promotion of access to work that is worthy for all, and to move towards the Development Goals Sustainable (ODS) .

With the aim of addressing this issue, the Directorate General of Digital Society of the Department of Digital Policies and Public Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the International Work Transformation Academy (ITA) and the International Center for the Development of Telework (CIDTT) will carry out the congress "Challenges and opportunities of the new forms of work in the era 4.0" on November 27 and 28 in the Bital Space .

The ITA is a non-profit academic organization, created to promote knowledge, the search for Teleworking, new forms of work and Digital Social Innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean. P romó new schemes of work from digital technologies and conducts research, meetings and proposals to guide public policies and innovative work practices that promote social development in communities.

The thematic axes of the meeting are:

1. The challenges of the ODS and its impact on the workplace.
2. Teleworking in the framework of the era 4.0 and ODS.
3. New trends : Digital Social Innovation and the promotion of employment inclusion.
4. The framework of work guidance and access to information in the digital revolution.

The program includes activities related to the different thematic areas and will include Latin American and Catalan representatives such as Ester Manzano , General Director of Digital Administration of the Generalitat; Sara Díaz , Director of Training and Innovation of Barcelona Activa; Artur Serra , Deputy Director of the I2cat Foundation; Pat Gonzalez , expert in digital social innovation and founder of the consultancy Monday Innovation Lab, and Albert Cañigueral , CEO of Ouishare.

In addition, on November 28 between 15:00 and 18:00. Some of the city's most important spaces related to the new ways of working in the digital era will be visited in order to invite people from different European cities to know the territorial reality. Sites are still pending confirmation.
